my bf’s parents have horrible credit. they are constantly doing those cash advance things and apply for credit cards even though they know they’re most likely not going to get approved. they are getting kicked out of their mobile home because they couldn’t come up with their rent i think 3 times this past year. my bf has an okay job for not going to college… he wants to go but doesn’t have the money and doesn’t qualify for financial aide because he makes the money but his parents take like 3/4 of his paychecks. idk they ruined his credit too by guilt tripping him into getting them cash advances too and applying for loans and stuff. he is very family oriented but i can see that they’re taking advantage of him. i don’t want him to end up like them. So my question I guess is what are the steps that he can take to start improving his credit. i feel bad for him and i just want to help him get everything straightened out and in good terms. Any advice is great. Sorry for venting
