Do finance charges/cash advances hurt your credit score?
Looking For Cash Day Advance Loan Reports
I recently overdrew my checking account and as a result, I was forwarded $20 from my credit card that is linked to the account in order to cover the charges. I was then assessed a finance charge for the cash advance. I paid both amounts off about a week later before they were due. Does this hurt my credit score at all?

no, the only thing that hurts your credit score is non-payment, what you did probably will help your score, because it adds to yor credit history.

I don’t think so, if you pay things off it usually helps from what I’ve experienced.

Not at all. You have a system in place to prevent bounced checks, you did everything you were supposed to.
Your problem won’t even cause a blip on any radar screen.
